Curriculum
The objective of the state approved SETS program is to train students in the art and science of Personal Training. Personal Trainers require knowledge and expertise in the areas of exercise and fitness, anatomy and physiology, weight management, and healthy lifestyles. A Personal Trainer’s role is to advise clients on appropriate and proper exercise techniques, weight loss/gain and weight maintenance options, and how to adopt healthier lifestyles. The knowledge and skills acquired by SETS students will enable them to design and implement safe and effective training programs specific to each client, which includes exercise, fitness and nutritional consultation.
SETS prepares you for national certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) certification examination. The NSCA’s credentials will really set you apart in the fitness industry. Program SchedulesWe offer two convenient schedules
